I don’t know about you, but I am dreaming of Spring! I can’t wait to open up the windows and let all of that fresh air in or to sit outside and soak up the sun while listening to the birds chirp.  Ahhh, I can’t wait!

Things have been a bit quiet over here mostly because I’m sewing up a storm!  I’ve been working on lots of beautiful little things for my Spring show in Shakopee, MN.  I’m really looking forward to it!  Hopefully soon I’ll have lots of pretty photos of everything to share with you, but for now here are a few of some of my favorite Spring finds!

Hello!  I wanted to take a minute to thank you all for the amazing support in 2012!  You guys are so awesome and I wish each and every one of you an amazing 2013!!!

Woo-hoo I made a sewing tutorial!  My first one!  This little girls princess crown tutorial is not only cute but  fun, quick and easy to make!  I used some beautiful fabric from the line “Hug Me” by Sue Zipkin for Clothworks and made a really sweet Valentines themed crown.  Makes a perfect little gift for your Valentine!  If you love the crown but don’t have time to make one, not to worry!  I have these listed in my Etsy shop.

I am quite a lucky girl because my husband is a video editor and he convinced me to make a video sewing tutorial version as well.  It turned into quite a production but it was so much fun!  Plus it turned out really great and it’s like I have my own little sewing show (p.s. anyone out there in need of a sewing host??)!   Anyway, the video goes through everything step by step in complete detail.  I’d love for you to watch it!

 Christmas shopping is definitely on our minds now, isn’t it?  Time is ticking to get all of our shopping done especially for that darling little girl on your list!  This year I’ve challenged myself to buy as many of my presents from handmade sellers.  When you support small handmade businesses you are directly helping that family.  How wonderful is that!
